Belgium here we come!
This Sunday we (The Uke Box) will be performing at Ukulele Sur Meuse in Belgium. They host an event every two months which includes an Open Mic, Performances AND Good Food. (Those Belgians can cook y'all, not to mention they brew the best beer in the world.) We are really looking forward to it. If you are somewhere close by, come out and see us, we'd love to meet you!
Unconsumption
Yesterday, my work was featured on one of my favorite blogs, 'Unconsumption'. Unconsomption is "your daily source of inspiration for creative reuse and mindful consumption", something i applaud whole heartedly and am very proud to be a part of.
I especially enjoy their articles on upcycling which demonstrate how extraordinary things can be created from ordinary, throw-away objects while at the same time saving money and our natural resources. Who can argue with that?
