Good post. The adds were funny back then too! "Winchester for you shooting holiday". What exactly is that? A bad Christmas with the inlaws?

I actually have a true story involving Christmas, in-laws, rifles and the occurance of one of my cousins accidently shooting another cousin. (did i say these weren't blood relatives)

It's a story i call Redneck Christmas.
I tell it everytime i have the John Deere t'shirt on which was awaiting me under the tree that very same Christmas.

By the way, My cousin survived this and is currently in good working order.

Fun post! Loved your Christmas story. Happy your cousin survived.

Hi Kittie!
You would love the whole story. I've never told it for fear of insulting the in-laws.

I love reading your stories. Often when i'm rolling my hair (which i of course still do being a southern gal and all that) i go to your website and read a new story.

My Cousin survived. He's still full of buckshot, but he survived.

Bye Kittie, have a swell weekend!
